The Cookie Story
I have always been a creator, a dreamer and a doer.
After serving my high school football team dozens
of cookies each week and baking for friends and
coworkers in Los Angeles, I brushed off the raving
reviews and compliments. I’m a perfectionist after
all, so flattery doesn’t always equal a job well done.
It wasn’t until I showed up to a dinner party with cookies
in hand that the dream of owning my own bakery went
from a distant fantasy to a reality. Within minutes, there
weren’t any cookies in sight, and strangers around the
room were commenting, “This is the best cookie I’ve
had in my entire life!” That’s when it finally clicked.
As the pandemic hit only weeks later, I jumped
at the opportunity to bring joy to others through
my bite-size cookies. After 10 years of perfecting
both my handcrafted chocolate chip recipe and
my vision, MareMade was born—and now you can
experience a bite or two (or ten) of bliss for yourself.
